This was a fantastic purchase experience. I had visited other dealers and they had good selections also. The difference is the helpful sales staff who went out of their way to make this a great experience. Purchased a Godfrey Xperience pontoon from Gary and Joseph at A Boat House in Douglasville, GA. Inventory at the time of purchase was very low. We live near Pittsburgh and have a second home on Lake Hartwell. Drove over two hours to buy the boat. Gary and Joseph were easy to work with, professional and kept their commitments. We had a tight timeline for delivery since we had to return to Pittsburgh in a week. Gary and Joseph were very accommodating and rearranged their delivery schedule to meet our needs. Boat was delivered on time as promised. Delivery driver took extra time to cover all details of the boat and answer all our questions. He even took us out on the water to make sure we were comfortable since this was our first boat. All details of the purchase and paperwork were dealt with on site without errors or omissions which was appreciated since we weren't local. Very pleased with our buying experience.

I found A Boat House on line. Prices were significantly less that other more local boat dealers. Salesman (Rick) did a great job explaining the various triton options. Educated me about the pros and cons of various options. Mechanic was great. Educated me all about the boat before I left the lot. The only upset to the deal was a mis communication on the repairs for my trade in. After a deal was made, I received a call and was informed the repairs to my boat would be about 1,200. I didnt realize that I wold have to pay for my boat repairs after the deal. I truly do think it was a mis-communication. But it is also important to make sure how much you will be charged for trade in repairs before you make the deal. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I purchased a 16 PaddleQwest pontoon in January from A Boathouse. I can confidently say these folks stand behind their word and deliver outstanding service. The boat was promised by end of March (came straight from the factory) and was at my house in Cary March 26 as promised. A Boathouse delivered the boat from Atlanta and was very professional and friendly. We went through operation of the boat and I was on my way. The boat is very well made with nice upholstery and very rugged structure. By the way, the paddleqwest is a pedal powered/ paddle wheel pontoon with electric motor for when you get tired. The Boathouse is a dealership I will definitely do business with again. Joe and Amy went above and beyond to make our buying experience 5 star. From returning emails and calls while I was shopping for a boat to pre-arranging financing, making the boat ready for pickup the day of, and to staying past closing time to fix the lights on my truck so we could take delivery that day. Dont let the lack of a fancy sales center or big parking lot fool you. They were very well stocked with parts, and had several employees working that day (on a Saturday) to help. While we were working out details of our purchase, there were several couples looking at boats that day from Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. Chris delivered the boat and completed the PDI and was very thorough and helpful and did not rush me at all.. The actual delivery took place on 2-23-12, very warm and windy 3to 4 foot whitecaps at Lake Sinclair as Joe explained the boat ride was as smooth as silk, no porpoising or water splashing into the boat.
